Whether you need a polished headshot for LinkedIn or a relaxed personal portrait, sessions are designed to be low-key and easy. You don’t need to be natural in front of the camera. Most people aren’t. That’s something we can work with together.
How Sessions Work
Most headshots and individual portraits are photographed in my south Reno studio. The studio gives you consistent, flattering light and a private, distraction-free setting. For people who tend to feel stiff in front of a camera, that controlled environment actually helps.
If you need team headshots for your office, I bring a compact studio setup to you.
Lifestyle sessions are always photographed on location, in whatever environment makes sense for the story we’re telling.
Before your session, I’ll walk you through wardrobe choices and what to expect. No surprises, nothing complicated.
Session Types

Professional Headshots
$200
Studio session up to one hour. You’ll receive two professionally retouched images delivered through a private online gallery. Additional images are available as an add-on.
Good for: LinkedIn, company websites, personal branding, actor and creative portfolios.

Individual Portraits
$350
Studio session up to two hours. You’ll receive five professionally retouched images through a private online gallery. Additional images are available as an add-on.
Good for: personal projects, milestone photos, professional or creative use where you want more variety.

Lifestyle Photography
Starting at $450
On-location sessions built around what you actually do. Session length and location are planned in advance so everything is ready to go when we meet.
Good for: personal branding, small businesses, documentary-style personal or professional work.

I’m a documentary photographer with over a decade of experience working with nonprofits and organizations worldwide. That background shapes how I approach portraits, where the goal is images that feel like you, not a stock photo.
I’m based in Lake Tahoe and work regularly with clients in Reno, Truckee, and Carson City. I also teach photography and run an online course platform for camera users who want to improve their skills.

Not currently. I focus on individual portraits and headshots. There are a lot of excellent photographers in the Reno/Tahoe area who specialize in those sessions, and I’m happy to point you in the right direction if needed.
